As you may have heard, the LHS band has been invited to participate in the New York City Veteran's Day Parade in November. We are the only band from the State of Tennessee that will be making the trip. This is a wonderful honor, but as you can probably imagine, the cost of transporting an entire band with all of the equipment will be significant. In order to make it happen, we will be having many fund raising events in the upcoming months to help make this become a reality.
The first annual Second Chance Prom was a huge success! Guests began arriving to Baird Chapel in their best prom attire ready for a fun evening with friends. Dinner was provided by Jordan's Catering, entertainment by Hawk Specialty Services and auction items were donated by so many generous local businesses. Party Providers helped with linens and Specialty Photo Creations made the event complete with prom photos. Lyk-Nu Collision provided limo and driver for a special prom package enjoyed by a wonderful group of ladies.
